HOW I MADE MY CD

HOW I MADE MY CD

went back into Photoshop opened a new file and set the width and height to 12 by 12cm (actual size on a CD) and set the background contents to white.

Selected eclipse tool
then drew a circle to fit the box, and then I selected the paint bucket tool and filled the circle with the colour black.
I selected the eclipse tool again and drew a smaller circle within the circle I had just made, I selected the paint bucket tool and filled that circle with white. I repeated this process once more and my CD was made.
i selected the eclipse tool then made a circle almost as big as the previous one but left a bit of space in between both circles then i clicked on the Paint Bucket tool and filled it with the colour black. I repeated this process one last time making the circle smaller and filling it with the colour white.

Result.
i then opened a new file of an image i wanted to place on my CD then minimised the page.
Automatically tile windows tool. Minimised the page
so i could see both pages.

Then clicked on the window with Keith Tyler's profile image and selected the Elliptical marquee tool.

filled in 50 in the feather box. By doing this I soften the edges of  my new rounded image.
drew a circle on the image,

then selected the move tool

then dragged the image on to the CD
Then reduced the opacity so I could see the inner circles of the CD.

Result.
Then while holding the shift key I dragged out the edges of the picture to fit the CD.

I then selected the text tool, typed out my text, I highlighted and selected the colour I wanted my text
then selected my font size.
After all this was done I selected  this tool  in order for my text to curve to fit the CD perfectly
I selected from the drop down list how I wanted my text to curve.
I got it to curve perfectly
Repeated the same process for the other text.

I changed the name of the text layers to image layer so I could fill in the text with colour.

I then selected the paint bucket tool selected the colour I wanted and filled in my text with the colour. I then selected the a different colour and filled in my background.

I got this picture from the internet saved it on to the desktop. I opened it in Photo shop and edited it by changing the background colour to suit mine. I then selected it and dragged it on to my CD
